Hi,

I have an external drive in an enclosure from Rocketfish model rf-hd3025 that is not working with Windows 10.

When I plug it in to Windows 10 machine I hear a tone but it does not autoplay and I can not see it on the file list. 

Please, help !

Thanks so much for writing to us about this and welcome to our online Forums! We're happy to have you. I'm concerned to hear your computer isn't recognizing this Rocketfish hard drive. I've definitely ran into this sort of thing before with an older WD hard drive as well. Assuming you've tried the different USB ports on your device, I would also attempt a different cable in the case that it's not properly sending signals back and forth. If that doesn't work, it could be some sort of incompatibility (whether that be drivers or hardware restraints). If you'd like, we could set you up with an appointment at your local Best Buy. At the counter, we could troubleshoot a few things and see where we're at. 

I know that this hard drive model is quite old - going on about 10 years. If the goal is just to get data off, we should be able to make that happen. In the worst case scenario, a hard drive will not show up in the file list if it's failing. Hopefully that's not the case. But, it is a possibility.
