I got the micro bluetooth adapter for christmas and have been trying to install it. When I insert the adapter, a windows message pops up saying new device found, installing drivers, yadda yadda. Then when I run the software that came with the product, it says that the adapter is not plugged into the computer at all. I have retried many times with many different ports (all of which I am positive work 100%). I thought it might be because of the windows-installed driver, so I went into device manager, but could not find the device (it was generically labeled, and there were several with the same name).
I am running Windows 7 Professional x64 (fresh install too, reformatted hard drive a couple days ago).
Thanks for your time.

Hello quidam,
Since the device is not being detected in the installation process, it is likely that there is an issue with the device. As a result, I would suggest taking the device, along with the receipt, to the place of purchase to obtain service. The RF-MRBTAD has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase.
