We are thinking about purchasing this item to help with our surround sound.  Do you have to run speaker wire

between the two rear speakers and use the receiver to receive the transmitted signal?

Or can you use two receivers, one for each speaker, and 1 transmitter?

Thanks for joining our community, and for that question.

Both rear speakers will need to be wired into the receiver. You aren't able to use two separate receivers with a single transmitter. You could buy two sets, and have one set up for the left speaker, and one for the right speaker, however.
