I have this system with one sender unit and one speaker unit RF-RBWS02.

The speaker is in "joined mode" at least I assume since the Blue light comes on steady.

Ok

I turn on the sender, it does not see any speaker, I turn on the speaker and I use on/off switch it turns on with the Blue light steady.

From there on I can't turn the speaker off, there are no other  lights on the unit.

I think that it has some type of brain dammage.

Appreciate if someone has seen this problem before.

I have taken it all apart, I can't see any bad components (capacitors etc).

I am a tech so I am not afraid to get in but the electronic is too condensed for me.

I have dug a little deeper.

It is all apart.

I am checking voltages around, since the on/off switch does not seem to respond quite like it should.

I checked the voltage accross it and I get spikes from 5vdc to 11 vdc.

That does not seem normal to me.

Does anyone have a diagram for this machine?

Unfortunately, because Geek Squad handles all warranty servicing on these units, they are the ones with any repair literature. I'm assuming you have had the unit for over one year?

As usual it has been more than 1 year since I bought it and I had bought it through ebay used working unit.

It did work for a while, but I think that my father in lay left it turned on and plugged into the outlet.

and unplugged the transmitter unit.

In any case I doubt that it could have dammaged it.

I will keep digging the strobe key signal on the on/off switch, I am pretty sure that it should not rise from 5 vdc to 10vdc or whatever the spike comes up to.

If I had a diagram, It would make it easier to follow the signals as I wouldn't have to go from top layer to bottom layer, and possibly miss some middle layer if it is more than 2 layers.
