10: How long does it take to charge the headphones?

·         It can take about eight to nine hours to charge the batteries. The batteries will last up to ten hours with continuous use (depending on the headphone volume level and distance from the docking station or other Rocketboost sender).

11: How do I charge my Rocketboost Wireless Headphones?

·         Place the headphones onto the docking station. Make sure that the headphone charging contacts and the docking station charging pins make contact.

·         The docking station charging indicator turns red to indicate the headphones are charging.

·         When the headphones are fully charged (which takes about eight to nine hours), the docking station charging indicator turns green.

·         The headphones can be charged even if the docking station and/or headphones are turned off.

·         Important: Before using the wireless headphones for the first time, make sure the batteries are fully charged for at least 16 hours. This will provide a longer operating lifetime for the batteries.

12: My Rocketboost Wireless Headphones are not working at all (i.e., will not turn on using power button, no indicator lights lighting).

·         Make sure the headphone batteries are correctly installed installed.

·         Make sure that the headphone charging contacts and the docking station charging pins make contact. You might have to rock them back and forth to make a good connection. The docking station charging indicator turns red to indicate the headphones are charging.

·         Try plugging the docking station into a different outlet.

13: My power adapter was damaged. Can I get a new one?

·         You will need to purchase a replacement power adapter or replace your Rocketboost Wireless Headphones.

·         Only use a power adapter meeting these specifications:

o Input: 100-240V AC~50/60Hz, 0.5A

o Output: 5V DC=1A

14: What kind of batteries can I use with the headphones?

·         Only use rechargeable AA batteries.

·         Replace batteries with Ni-MH : 2700mAh or below.

15: How do I replace the batteries in the headphones?

·         Only use rechargeable AA batteries.

1.     With the earpiece cushion facing you, unlock and remove the cushions by slightly rotating the left cushion clockwise and the right cushion counterclockwise, then pulling them away from the headphones.

2.     Take out old batteries.

3.     Insert one AA rechargeable battery into each battery compartment. Make sure to align the + and – symbols on the batteries with the symbols in the battery compartments.

4.     Put the left and right cushions back into place.

Note: Before using the wireless headphones with new batteries, make sure the batteries are fully charged for at least 16 hours. This will provide a longer operating lifetime for the batteries. For more information on charging your headphones refer to Question 10 on page 5.

16: Can I use a different AC adapter than the one supplied with my wireless headphones?

·         To avoid risk of fire and to prevent damage, only use the AC adapter supplied with your wireless headphones.

·         Make sure that the power supply outlet matches the AC adapter’s 120V before making the connection.

17: I have no sound coming from my headphones.

·         Check the volume level of the headphones or audio sources connected to the docking station.

·         Make sure that all of the cables are connected correctly to the Rocketboost devices.

·         Make sure the audio source connected to your sender is ON.

·         Make sure the sender or receiver devices are not set to Mute.

·         Make sure that that the power indicators on the headphones and docking station are lit solidly. If the indicators are blinking, see Question 3 on page 2 or Question 4 on page 3 for steps on how to establish a connection.

·         Check if the audio source has internal/external speaker settings that allow the internal speakers to be turned off and for the sound to be output from the audio sources line output to your external device (your headphones).

·         Some TVs may have a line output volume level that is set according to the TV volume level. If this is the case, be sure your TV is not set to Mute and the volume is turned up.

18: My audio has static noise or breaks up.

    • Make sure all of the cables are connected correctly to the Rocketboost devices.

    • Move the docking station slowly to find the best reception position for your headphones.

    • Keep in mind the unobstructed operating range of a Rocketboost network is 150 feet (45 meters) and the unobstructed operating range for the Rocketboost Wireless headphones is 115 feet (35 meters). If the devices are further apart than this your audio may have static noise or break up.

o    Shorten the distance between your headphones and the docking station.

o    Shorten the distance between your Rocketboost products.

    • It is possible other devices like cordless phones, microwaves, wireless routers, etc. may be causing interference. Try turning one device off at a time to determine which device is causing interference.

o    Keep your headset and docking station at a minimum of 18 inches away from interference causing devices.

o    If your cordless phone or wireless router is causing interference try changing the channel it is using. Please refer to your device’s owner manual.

19: My Rocketboost headphones will not control the volume. I can’t turn the volume up or down.

·         Turn up the volume using the headphone’s volume controls.

·         Make sure that the headphone batteries are installed correctly.

·         To maximize your volume level through the system, make sure your audio source (i.e., A/V receiver, MP3 player, etc.) have their volume turned up to at least 50% of their volume level.

·         Your headphone batteries may be dead. Try recharging your headphones.
