I've had a pair of RF-MAB2s for about 6 years, and I've been really, really happy with them, despite them taking some damage over the years (my fault). I just got a replacement set for Christmas, and I was initially very happy because I finally got back the functions and sound qualty I'd lost from the years of abuse, but a problem has come up. The battery life is vastly shorter than my old pair. I don't know if the battery needs to be broken in or something, but I left them on the charger overnight last night, and they only lasted about 2 hours this morning when my old ones still regularly reach 10. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I was very happy to hear you're so fond of these Rocketfish headphones. It seems seldom that I run into a product I truly love these days and when I do, I do everything I can to keep using it.
To be completely transparent, these headphones have been discontinued for some time. What I would recommend at this point is that you call Rocketfish Support to for assistance with the battery life issue. You can reach them via 1-800-620-2790.
