Hello
Just purchased a Rocketfish 4K HDMI splitter for the purpose of having two external monitors working off of one laptop. However, the laptop only recognizes them as one laptop and can only duplicate the display on both monitors. Is there a setting that I need to change to have them listed as two separate monitors?

Good Afternoon, LHein,
I appreciate the time you’ve taken to post to us with your question. The intended purpose of the RF-G1603 is to distribute one HDMI source to two HDMI displays simultaneously. This item doesn’t have the capability to create a display to have one continuous display over your two external monitors. I’d recommend exchanging your RF-G1603 for an item that does what you’re looking for if you’re still within your Return & Exchange Promise.
Respectfully,
