1. 1. Connect a high-speed HDMI cable (not included) from your video source (such as a gaming console, DVD or Blu-ray player, or cable box) to the IN port on the splitter.
   2. Connect another high-speed HDMI cable from an AV receiver, projector, or TV to your HDMI splitter’s OUT1 port.
      Note: The destination device with the lowest resolution must be connected to the OUT1 port.
   3. Connect another high-speed HDMI cable from a second AV receiver, projector, or TV to your HDMI splitter’s OUT2 port.
   4. Connect the AC adapter from the DC jack on the HDMI splitter to a standard power outlet. The power LED lights green.
   5. Turn on all your connected devices and use them as indicated in the manufacturer’s instructions.

• • Make sure that the AC power adapter is securely plugged into the splitter and a standard power outlet.
  • Make sure that all connected devices are plugged in and turned ON.

• • Make sure your TV and/or AV receivers are set to the proper input.
  • Make sure that the destination device with the lowest resolution is connected to OUT 1 port to make sure audio is heard.
    Note: The splitter uses the resolution, timing information, and audio formats of the destination device with the lowest resolution for both devices.
  • Make sure the TV is connected to OUT 1 on the splitter, and the AV receiver is connected to OUT 2
  • Make sure that your DVD movie is original. HDMI includes HDCP copy protection, which prevents playback of illegally copied movies.
  • Make sure that the HDMI cables are not broken and are securely connected.
  • Make sure that the audio and video formats of the content being used (i.e., Blu-ray disc) are supported by all connected devices.
  • Make sure that you are using high-speed HDMI cables for all connections.
  • Unplug the HDMI splitter’s AC power adapter, then plug it back in again.
  • Make sure the TV and the sources are set to HDMI.
  • If you are connected to an AV receiver, try changing the ports the cables are plugged into.

• • This is a normal function when the Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) function is enabled on your display device or AV receiver.
  • If you would like to turn off each device independent of one another, make sure the CEC function is disabled on all connected devices. Refer to the documentation included with your display device or AV receiver on how to turn off the CEC function.
    Note: The CEC function may be called something else in your manual.

• The HDMI splitter will send the HDMI audio and video signals from a single source (such as a Blu-ray/DVD player or cable/satellite box) to two destinations, such as a TV and AV receiver.
