Yes it is. Sorry that I didn't say that in my first post.

Hello ARYankee,
I would attempt to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers. It sounds like the driver didn't install properly the first time.

The problem is that it isn't able to install the software due to that error. I downloaded the drivers for it off of your website and that zip file has the right dll file which the cd doesn't. Now I get an error saying that the file path to access that file is too long. The file that I am talking about is WdfCoInstaller01007.dll

Hello ARYankee,
This is a Windows issue. The path to that file is too long. You need to find it on your system and shorten a folder name so that Windows can access it.

Jeremy

Hello xgrimjoww,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
You will want to click the Rocketfish logo at the very top left of this page, and then on the new page enter your RF- model # in the search box in the top right corner. Once you show the product page, below the picture of the device, click the tab labeled Support/Service.

I'm trying to install a RF-PCC132. I'm getting
Error 1308.Source File not found:
D:\Windows\Win7\AX88772B_Win7for32-bit64-bitx86CPUplatformWHQLcertified\AX88772B_Win7_v5.x.7.0_Drivers_Setup_v1.0.4.0\programfiles\ASIX Electronics Corporation\AX88772B Windows 7 Drivers\64-bit\WdfCoInstaller01009.dll
Looking at the CD, that file name does not exist. The shorter name, WDFC#0I_.dll, does exist. I'm guessing there is no way to have the install look for the different file name.
I'm getting that error on a new Win 7 Pro install. I put the Rocketfish CD in another system just to make sure the file name was just 8 characters. That is when I found out the CD comes with an added bonus. Bitdefender tells me there is an infected file. Run.exe has Gen:Variant.Graftor.96358

Hello KCClark,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
If you have a separate computer online, you might try downloading a current version of the driver from the Rocketfish website to a USB flashdrive, and then install it from there onto the computer in question.

Thanks for the reply Jon.
I bought the Rocketfish because there were no Win 7 drivers for my old Linksys USB Ethernet adapter. When the Rocketfish did not work, I did some more digging on the Linksys and found a way to make it work with Windows 7. So I'm good now except it is too late to return the Rocketfish. Might come in handy someday.
