I have the above internal card reader. I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I recently rebult the computer due to a hard drive crash. I installed the driver for the card reader from the CD that was included with the product. The reader worked fine for a while but then the computer would not recognize the reader. I downloaded the driver zip file from Rocketfish and installed it. The reader again worked fine for a while but again the computer does not recognize it. It is not listed in the Device Manager. I again ran the driver setup, which again removed the old driver. When I tried to reinstall the driver it says to connect the reader to the computer even though I never disconnected it. How to make it work again?

Welcome, I'm having similar problems and hopefully we both find some answers.
I would hate to have to Install Vista again only to follow the upgrade all the way to Windows 10 to get the product to work correctly. That would just be crazy.

Guess there is no fix for this device. Time to scrap it and replace it with a different brand.

I bought an AFT. High end, supposed to be good. A bit pricey though., but it is USB 3.

I was looking at the USB 3.0 just some of the ratings didn't look that great.
I'd like to see some impressions, my biggest consern is the Rocket Fish condensed everything into one drive letter. I don't want to get a reader that creates lots of extra drive mapping to ports I will never use.
