Question on Rocketfish - 4 outlet /2 USB Wall Tap Surge Protector

Are both lights supposed to be lit up on the Rocketfish Surge protector, it has one that reads "Protected" and the other on reads "Grounded".  Only "Grounded" is lit up in blue.  Is that correct?

Generally speaking, both lights should be on, but I'd like to double-check to be sure. Can you please confirm the model number on that surge protector for me? That will help confirm this for us.

Thank you Kyle for the reply.  The model number is RF-HTS1415.  The reason I ask about the list is because only the "Grounded" light is lit and the "Protected" light is not lit and my tv that is connected to is stopped working.  Thank you for your help.

Looking at that model, if that light is out it means that the surge protector functionality is not working. Surge protectors are essential one time use. They'll stop a surge, but then stop working to protect your electronics.

 

I'd pick up a new surge protector to see if that television starts working again with it.
