Hello. I bought a 60” tv and rocket fish mount 6 years ago. I’m buying a new tv, a 65” within the next month or so. I really like this mount but I’m not sure if it will work with the new tv. I can’t find a model number or even a comparable model on line anywhere. It’s a tilting and sliding mount. I like the sliding feature because on the wall I have my tv on, the studs were nowhere good for the tv to be centered, so with the sliding feature I could mount in stud and then it slides left and right at least 6 inches plus the tilting up and down. Can anybody help me figure out what model this is if anyone else has this. All the models now seem to be fixed, just tilt, or full motion. The full motion ones look to extend and turn every which way, but they don’t seem to slide also. I’m really hoping my current mount is compatible, but again I can’t find it online anywhere. Thanks.

Welcome back tot he forums. Thanks for reaching out. That mount sounds perfect fro your needs, but it is important to make sure that it will work on that larger television.

Could this be the mount you have? Please let me know if that looks right. If not, I'll see what else we can find.

No that is a full motion mount and doesn’t slide. My mount does not pull away from the wall at all. It just tilts up and down and slides left and right.

So with that, unfortunately can’t be done I don’t think. So what happened back in 2014 I bought a rocketfish mount with my tv purchase. When geek squad came out to install, that mount wouldn’t work on my wall. They just so happened to have one in the van, which is the one I have installed now. They confirmed the pricing was the same and just did an on the spot swap and took the one I paid for back with them. So under my purchase history, it only shows the original one I bought that geek squad took and returned.
