I want to wirelessly connect another receiver to the transmitter for a "Zone 3".
Can I pair two receivers to the one transmitter?

mcfloyd,
Thank you for sharing the requested information.
I was unable to locate information on connecting more than one receiver to this kit. For further assistance with your query, I recommend contacting Rocketfish Support at (800) 620-2790.
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to us.

It is my understanding that you cannot because the transmitters are on a unique code, like a garage door opener. So the transmitter can only speak to one receiver. Well in theory it could speak to a number of other transmitters but the chances of two that are near each other having the same code is very remote.

Understood. but if you can match the code for both it should be do-able. Since it is just broadcasting and recieving, So...When you need to replace a damaged reciever how do you set the code?

Also, why would it need to scan to connect? If it only needed that one signal?

Your going to need to contact Rocketfish customer support for those kinds of questions.
It has to scan for the receiver because it is not hard wired to it.
