Re: Miracast video receiver not working after firmware upgrade

Is there any word on whether this works with a Galaxy S4 or not? I purchased a white box WFD-301 with mac address 0090A2DB8521 (so not within the firmware update range). Device connects fine but then does not show any video or audio at all, I could try the firmware update but would rather not do it if I will just brick the device before returning it. Have tried all of the above suggestions, wifi off, tried all ports, tv appears to be compatible.

Yes, the Samsung Galaxy S4 should work with the RF-WFD301.

Where can this firmware be found?  I was going through some old stuff I bought a long time ago and found a few of these.  would like to use them but never had as they initially had issues.

If i can find the firmware I will get it a go again.

The support page has a doc telling how to update but no file.

Any help would be appricated.

That's too bad. Most companies even once they no longer support a product pay the $.04 annually for the online storage requires to have the file online. This ensures their customer base has access. At a minimum they would offer to email or email a link. I understand your policy and it is regrettable. I will just make sure I buy a different brand next time that does support thorr customers
