I have a Flat-Panel TV Low-Profile Tilting Wall Mount Flat-Panel TV Low-Profile Tilting Wall Mount which was installed to mount a 55 inch HD Smart TV. I need to remove the TV and move the brackets.
I can see at the bottom of the mount on each side a small black - what looks like a chain link - and am wondering if pulling on down on those is needed to remove the TV.

Hello rbl,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
The steps to remove the TV from the mount will vary based upon the model of wall mount in question, if you can provide me with the model number I can verify the steps required for removal. However based upon your description the most likely steps would be to pull down on the "link" you mentioned, tilt the bottom of the TV out slightly at the base, and finally lift the TV off of the wall.
