Hi All,

I have  a RF-HPL302 whole house extender. When I connect directly to my Sharp TV everything is fine. When I try to go thru my Onkyo A/V receiver I just get a green screen. When I power cycle the Rocketfish receiver I see the splash screen (Rocketfish). Then the screen goes green again. Will not pass the signal. I hooked my laptop(HDMI) to the same input on my Onkyo and it passes okay. When the Onkyo is in pass thru mode I still get the green screen.

It sounds like you are running into a HDCP (High Definition Copyright Protection) issue. Since the issue is only occurring when the Onkyo is in between, have you looked at connecting it after the TV via one of the TV audio output jacks? Another thing to try is once you have everything connected and are showing the green screen, Turn off the entire system. Then starting at your original source device, power it on. After about 15 seconds, turn on the next device in line, another 15 seconds, and next device. Once the system is rebooted, see if it is carrying the signal.
