HD Extender

I recently bought a whole home hd extender RFHPL302 and hooked to a U-verse secondary cable box. It works but when powered on causes a signal loss (skipping and video artifacts) to the other tvs linked to the main box. Is there a solution?

Re: HD Extender

Hello joybel1,

Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!

Power down all the equipment in that room with the box. Once everything is down, disconnect both ends of the HDMI cords going to and from the Extender. At that point reconnect, and start powering up from your Source Device (UVerse) box, then power up the Extender, and then the TV's that run off of the box, and see if that clears up the interference.

Re: HD Extender

I followed the sequence, when the rocketfish reciever found a signal minor interference was noted on the tv of the main U-verse box.  However, when the TV connected to the reciever was turned on the interference on all other tvs became severe.  Although the indicator on the reciever is blinking the signal to its TV is ok with no interference.  I am at a loss.

Re: HD Extender

Hello joybel1,

Thank you for responding!

Are the Rocketfish devices plugged into any sort of power strip, or surge protector? If so, plug them directly into the wall outlets since some surge protectors use Noise Filters that will strip signal out and cause issues.
