I have a Tshiba p770 Satellite and wanted to connect with the iHome wireless speakers I recently received. I plug in the usb adapter and my laptop locates and identifies the wireless speakers, but when it tries to connect, it times out and will not connect. Am I doing something wrong or will the adapter will not work with wireless speakers?

Windows 7, HP Pavillion g series, speakers fully charged, how do I get them to play with my computer? My daughter gave these to me after she got a new Mac, so I have no instructions, but assumed that if they were plugged into the headphone jack, they would play? Their USB is also connected.
Model # ? Not sure, as it is not clearly marked as such, underneath.
Here are the FOUR numbers:
Stamped in the body - 28G1W0
FCC ID EM01DM15
IC:986B-IDM15
Service No:iDM14-A-A
I hope you can help, as she says these are great little speakers.
Also, do you know if they will work plugged into a TRIO Stealth 4.3" tablet, no bluetooth available, but it does have the proper size jack spot.
Thank you for any help you can give me!

OK, found the center place for the button, and they do play wonderfully with the Trio!! Happy Dance! Now, if only I can get them to play with the laptop, and using both connector and Bluetooth.

Hello NobleElf17,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
Are you using any Rocketfish equipment on this set up? If so it should have a Model # that starts RF-. If you are not using any Rocketfish equipment, you would want to contact the speaker manufacturer for support on connecting their speakers to your laptop.
Regards,
Jon
