Hello, I purchased the 4 port hdmi switcher December 2018. After watching the firestick for a while, the 4 port just shuts off, and the tv switches from hdmi 1 to the tv. Then when we put the tv back to the hdmi 1, the playstation automatically turns on so then we have to switch from the playstation which is on the 2nd port to the firestick which is on the 4th port. And then it repeats several times after. How do I get this fixed? I love the multi-port since I have a firestick, ps4, and the nintendo switch. It only does it when we watch the firestick.

Hey there, koreangyrl,
Thanks for reaching out to us with your experience! Can you say which Rocketfish 4 port HDMI switch you have? Providing the model number could be helpful. Alternatively, you could also reach out to our support teams over the phone at (800) 620-2790.
Either way, I look forward to hearing back!

Hey there, koreangyrl,
Does your TV currently have HDMI-CEC enabled? If you do, and your TV starts doing some sort of background activity while you're using your Firestick, it's possible that it could be triggering the auto-switching technology where the port switches to the newly active input.
Let me know!

How do I find out if it has HDMI-CEC enabled?

Hi, koreangyrl,
Thanks for the reply! Each television has HDMI-CEC information stored in a unique area of the settings. I would recommend looking at your TV’s manual, or contacting the TV manufacturer if you can’t find that information. As an alternative, our agents with Rocketfish may be able to further assist via phone at (800) 620-2790. Let me know how this goes!
Thanks,

So it should not be enabled?

I turned that off, we will see if that stops it.

Hey, koreangyrl,
Awesome! Correct. Sometimes turning off the HDMI-CEC feature on your TV may fix this issue. I look forward to hearing back on your viewing experience with this change.
Best,
