I really want to like these headphones, but I'm on my second pair in two weeks and I'm trying to decide if I should keep trying or just throw in the towel and get another brand.
I love the way they fit, they're easy to configure and have good sound. But both of the pairs I've tried have stopped working within a day.
What happens is for a few seconds, the sound starts to break up, and then they won't. turn. off. No matter what I do. They have a small power button that, when on, displays a steady blue light. You usually only have to hold it down for about two seconds, but if that doesn't work, well, what do you do? They just won't turn off, which means I can't reset them.
There's some discussion on this issue in the forum for the product on Bestbuy.com, but the only solution I've seen is to take them back and get another set. I just want a pair that I know is going to work!

Ok this may sound like a dumb question.
Did you make sure and fully charge them before using them?
And did you try charging them after they quit working?

Not a dumb question at all. I did rule out the charging situation...in fact part of the issue is that it won't turn off, not that it won't turn on.
I left them on over the weekend and let the charge run down, recharged them for a day and tried it again yesterday, and it did the same thing. I think I'm just going to have to throw in the towel on these. It's too bad, they'd be great if they worked.

I would tend to think if it happened once that you just got a bad one.
But when it happens twice.
Side note. I used to sell computers. Someone called me that I sold a system to all made because they got it all set up and it would not turn on.
Long story short they didn't plug it in. They got even madder at me.
Since then ever since trying to help troubleshoot I try and phrase the easy answers that way. Hee Hee.
I have Sony Headphones and I am very happy with them. I think it is this model.

Yep, we've all made our dumb mistakes, best to just laugh and move on.
Thanks for the recommendation for the headphones. I'm heading over to my local BB to pick up a new pair.

press volume up (+), Talk and play simultaneously and it will reset the device. Works like a charm

Not sure why this is marked as the solution, because it isn't a solution. The solution is to reset the headset. Press volue up (+), talk (looks like a phone), and play at the same time and it will reset the device. Workls for me.
