So I just got my JBL Pulse 2 speaker and the primary light show only lights up on half the speaker. basically only to the right of the JBL logo. Some of the secodary effects will show up to the left of the logo but thats it and its only every once in a while. I assume this is a defective speaker right? Its supposed to light up accross the whole speaker right? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum. According to the image on our website it looks like it's supposed to light up across the whole speaker. If you just purchased it, I recommend taking it back to your local store for an exchange.
