I purchased my 8GB Black Ipod Touch about one year ago, I also purchased the 3 year warranty with it, now I was wondering I paid $300 for this Ipod and another $60 for the warranty, in total i paid $360 for my Ipod. Now I see that the new Second generation ipods are only $230 and come with alot more features. I was wondering if there was a way I can upgrade too the second generation by returning my first generation Ipod?. Do you see where im coming from i payed like $130 more then the new one that just came out, I think its only fair if i return my ipod for the new one. Just wanted to see If that was possible. thanks for the help.

Hello ntbaseball07,
I certainly understand wanting to have the latest and greatest! I also agree that it's important to get the best value.
Best Buy® doesn't offer an upgrade program for the products we sell. While your Performance Service Plan (PSP) will cover most repair concerns that might develop, it doesn't offer an avenue to upgrade either. Unfortunately, we would not be able to accomodate a transaction like the one you suggest. We will certainly live up to the coverage of your PSP if you develop problems with your iPod!
I hope this helps.
