I am thinking of updating my Ipod Touch from the first generation to the new second generation model. Are there any differences from one version to the other that would make it worthwhile to upgrade to?

Other than cosmetic differences, a hardware volume switch, and a speaker, not really.

Well if you are a fan of the games, it is a lot more fun to play them with the built-in speaker.
