Hello, my family computer broke down several months ago and it had my iPod's library. I haven't beenable to sync anything else into my iPod because every time I try, I'm afraid I will refresh my iPod andlose everything on it. Is there a way to put everything from my Ipod into an empty iTunes library, or will I have to erase everything on my iPod and start from the beginning?

Well, there is one way you can get the information, uninstall iTunes, plug in your iPod, then normally if you go to "Computer" It should list the name of your iPod beside Local Disk C: or wherever it may-be. Then just go under there, and go to your music folder, then copy all those folders, paste them somewhere, then go download iTunes, then import the folders.
Have fun!

So you mean you cant access the library in your Ipod through your Pc? Well, I have done that with no problem. You should be able to access it. How are you accessing it? Why not try using the iTunes program and not the drive option.

iTunes might autosync and wipe the iPod.
