I have just had a new Alpine system installed in my car. It has a connector for an Ipod. I have an mp3 player, but not an ipod. I like my rhapsody to go subscription which the Ipods do not support.
Is there another player that will mate with the connector? Is there a converter, Or should I just buy an Ipod nano?
Your best bet is to go into your local Best Buy, let them know what setup you have and they can give you exactly what it'll take to get your mp3 player to play in you car stereo.
You can buy a cable in the ipod section that has 3.5mm plugs on both ends. Plug one into the headphone jack on the MP3 player and the other end into the Alpine. Push the AUX button and it will allow the MP3 to play through the Alpine.
