Amazon Echo Pods: One went bad

I bought Echo pods at Best Buy on  December 27, 2019.  One went bad today January 16 - static and no bass in the right bud.

This is over the 14 day limit.  What can I expect from Best Buy regarding potential for an exchange/replacement?

Make an appointment with Geek Squad and see if they are covered under warrenty. You may have to go through Amazon for warrenty support.

Re: Amazon Echo Pods: One went bad

I double checked with Amazon via Chat before I went in to the local Best Buy store to confirm their exchange policy.  Before I kneew it, Amazon authorized a return and replacement that will be received tomorrow.  Can't beat that!

I suspected that Best Buy would refer me to Amazon, since their 14-day window for exchanges, even for faulty items, had expired.  So, I'm glad I saved myself a trip to Best Buy.

Actually it is more than likly Amazon wants best Buy to defer to them. I had a dehumidifier that went bad. The manufacturer wanted me to go through best buy.
