I've had my IPod for a little over a year, and when I bought it I naturally got the 3 year warranty on it because I wanted it just in case something happened. Well yesterday at work I had turned to get a file and when I did I pulled the IPod with me and it fell to the floor. I have had it fall on the ground before but it always works. But yesterday was a whole different story, it froze on me. It wouldn't do anything so I got on Google to see what I could do to fix it. I found that if you hold down the menu and the select button it would reset. It did but all I get is a white screen with nothing showing, I can hear music if I hit play but I can't see anything. Now that I've described what is wrong with my IPod here's my real question.
Yes I did get the extended warranty but I am unable to find it. I moved last year and I have lost the receipt when I bought it. I still have the box and everything but I need to know what I need to do about getting it fixed. Is there anyway that they can look in there system to see that I did indeed purchase the IPod and the warranty?

Ok thanks for the help!
Do you know if I will have to wait for a refurbished IPod to get sent to me or are there some at the store?

I went up there Friday and I had no problems at all. They are sending that one up to get wiped out and fixed and they are sending a refurbished one to me but they will call me and let me know when it is here. They said about a week to a week and a half. I may go through withdrawals but I can handle it.
I was just worried bc I didn't have my receipt that I wouldn't be able to get it fix/exchanged but I had no problem, they actually printed me out a receipt for me to have since I lost the other one. I don't know the lady's name that I dealt with but she was really helpful.
