So I have been saving rewards to get a TV and have about $600 saved when I logged in and noticed I had zero rewards earned. Called in and was told that I had bought too much from Best Buy and they were revoking my rewards account. True story - I wish I was not making this up.
use the points as fast as you can cause if you have too many they will just revoke them on you!

I have lost a few certificates over the years to expiration dates with each one feeling like a missed opportunity. Now, the loss of nearly $600 in certificates is on a totally different level. Were you banking points and your Elite or Elite Plus status expired? If so, then that would have caused any points in your rewards account to be automatically converted into certificates. Did those certificates then expire? A non-bonus certificate will generally be valid for a period of 60 days unless noted otherwise.
