"Welcome to My Best Buy" email link doesn't recognize my phone number

I put in the digits of my phone number, and it says
You have entered an incorrect phone number. Please try again.
I've used the number I gave which is on the invoice, they also asked for my mobile during the process (which I've already received texts from BestBuy) and it also doesn't work. 
How should I proceed?
