You can make changes under My Settings tab once logged into your account, then selecting Personal Information on the profile settings menu. I hope this helps.

It is never a bad idea to make sure the information tied to a My Best Buy™ rewards account is up-to-date. My wife had to update her own rewards account after we got married last year. It can help prevent potential verification issues when attaching a purchase to a rewards account. While you can update some information yourself on BestBuy.com, changing the name tied to a rewards account is not one of the options. That is where I can help.
There are a handful of scenarios where we can make changes to the name tied to a rewards account, such as a simple misspelling or legal name change. Did you legally change your first name? If so, then I will just need to gather some sort of proof. Otherwise, why are you looking to make a change? The rewards account would belong to whoever's name was provided when it was first created. If that was not you, then you may need to create a new rewards account that is in your name.
Before I can do anything though, i will need to gather some additional information from you. Please send me a private message with the information listed below and I will take a closer look at the rewards account. A private message can be sent by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the blue button found in my signature that just so happens to be labeled "Private Message."
