Can't redeem $5 bonus reward that I received in the mail.  Web page only allows up to 18 digits to be entered, but bonus reward has 20 digits.  What a scam!

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out regarding your trouble redeeming a My Best Buy reward certificate! Reward certificates are intended to be easy to redeem, so I'm upset to hear you're having such difficulties. 

To redeem a certificate in store, while you may bring the certificate in store to be scanned, we should also be able to simply look up your membership and existing rewards. As for BestBuy.com, you would need only login, and the certificate should appear at the checkout. It sounds like you've been attempting to input the certificate number as a promotion or gift card, which could cause the error. The error may also be encountered if the certificate is to be used in-store only, but you're attempting to redeem it online.
