Wrong member ID number associated with account

I have made some purchases recently so I decided to go creat an account to see how many rewards points I have.

After registering an account using the phone number I use to make purchases, it shows I have no purchases.

The member ID it gave me does not match the member ID on my reciepts. I have no idea how to change that.

Hi there PdxJohn, 

Welcome to the forum, and to My Best Buy! Creating a BestBuy.com account to manage your rewards is a fantastic step to take. You'll be able to keep track of your rewards much better this way.

 

With that said, when creating your account you would have wanted to enter the member ID from your receipt. It sounds like this wasn't done, and thus a new My Best Buy membership was created with your BestBuy.com account. We should be able to merge these memberships though and get things straightened out, as outlined in the post below.
