Where are the Certificates?

I want to make a purchase and wanted to use the rewards certificates I've been getting emails about, but none appear on my accout. I just set my preferences to "Point Banking" but before it was set to the default value of $5 for every 250 points. I received three emails titled "Alvin, your $5 reward certificate has arrived." in the past couple of months, but I don't see them anywhere in my Best Buy profile either in history or available. Thanks in advance for your help.

Good afternoon, rodz,

 

Welcome to our forums!  Those reward certificates can go a long way towards purchasing some great tech with us, so I can certainly see why you’d want to make sure you’re not missing any! 

 

Generally speaking, you should be able to see your reward certificates within your BestBuy.com account, assuming your BestBuy.com account and My Best Buy™ accounts are linked.  If you’re having trouble linking your My Best Buy™ member ID to your BestBuy.com account, you’ll find more information regarding this process here.

 

If you’re still not seeing these certificates in your account, I’ll be happy to take a closer look and offer any additional assistance I can.  For me to do so, I’ll just need you to send me a private message with:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your My Best Buy™ Member ID

 

As you can imagine, this information I’ll need is sensitive, so we’ll want to keep it out of the public view of our forums.  If you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Full” or “Desktop” view before this "Private Message" button in my signature is visible to you.
