WHY is a total stranger able to make repair appointments using MY account?

This has been going on for literally years and I'm losing my mind.

I've reset my password and enabled two factor authentication.

They are using a different email from mine, but their appointments are showing up under my account.

I've been passed around between Best Buy and Geek Squad back and forth on the phone for hours, not trying that again.

For the love of god and all things good and green on this earth, how do I make them stop?!

Can you please just NUKE my account out of existence so neither of us can use it? I'm desperate.

Here's a screenshot from the best buy app:

I dont know who the heck "my@na.com" is, but it is not me. That email has no reason to be associated with my account.

Why are they able to schedule appointments under my account?

Re: WHY is a total stranger able to make repair appointments using MY account?

Good afternoon, KellyKanoli,

Thank you for taking the time to stop by our community forums and letting us know about your My Best Buy account. 2-step verification is a great tool to help ensure that your account is secure so it's concerning to hear that appointments are being made without your permission. I would certainly like to take a closer look into this.

Generally, only someone with access to your mobile device or text messages should receive your 2-step verification codes to access your account. I'd like to review the information listed on your account to better understand how I can assist you moving forward. I'll be sending you a private message in a few moments to gather these details.

You can check your private message inbox by clicking on the orange envelope in the top right corner of your screen. I'll keep an eye out for your response.
