Verification email issues

I have tried using my certificate several times but once I log on  to my account I am told i need to verify my email. I do, but the email never arrives. When I press the button to send again I receive the following message:


We’re sorry; we encountered a temporary problem. Please try again later.


This problem is not temporary because i've been trying for a month. When I called customer service they told me it was a known problem but they don't know how to fix it or what causes it.


This message is going to get deleted or some social media rep is going to tell me to send a direct message so they can solve my issue, but why don't you crooks post the fix instead of keeping people from using their certificates.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us regarding your verification e-mail situation. There are many reasons why you may have trouble receiving a verification code. These range from outdated information, duplicate information in our system, or simply your e-mail account blocking the verification e-mail we're sending.


I have gone down this route before with my personal account. First, we should make sure your information on file is up-to-date. Second, we should make sure your My Best Buy account is not linked to more than one account. Third, you should add to your email contact list.

Having the same problem. It's a longstanding issue, apparently.


And when a website has a longstanding issue that litteraly breaks the customers ability to use it, somebody SHOULD be getting held accountable for it. SHOULD. But apparently they're not.
