I purchased a tv yesterday using a combination of points and credit card payment, then decided to get a better one instead. Cancelled the online order with no issues. The points were refunded back to my account in a half hour or so, but it won't let me issue new certs now. "We're sorry, we're unable to issue a reward certificate."
Called support yesterday and they said because of the large amount of points being refunded ($1000) the account would be locked for 24 hours. Very annoying, but whatever... it's now been more than 24 hours and the same error message still appears. I would really like to get the new tv soon before they go out of stock in my area.

Good afternoon, desmo001,
Welcome to our community forums. I appreciate you taking the time to wrote to us about this purchase. I know I upgraded my TV this year and spent quite a long time making sure I found the perfect one for my home. I can understand wanting to get this TV. I'd be glad to help you take a closer look into this.
As you mentioned, when large quantities of My Best Buy points are used, we may temporarily lock you account to help prevent fraud or unauthorized use. Have you been able to issue this certificate since making this post? If not, I'd be glad to review your account to see what options I may have to assist you at this time.
I'll keep an eye out for your response!
