I had made a purchase last year at Best Buy (and have the receipt in my email with the Member ID). I tried creating an account with my Member ID but I was unable to. I checked if I already had an account by clicking on forgot password but I was told my email address isn't linked to an account. Perhaps, the member ID is linked to the phone number I had when I made my last purchase(which I no longer have access to). Is there anything I could do to create an account with my member ID? (I signed in with Facebook to post this message.. I am not sure if that complicates things)
Also is it possible to register an international phone number with my Best Buy account?

Our My Best Buy program is a great way to be rewarded for the purchases that you have made with Best Buy. It's understandable that you would like to participate. The My Best Buy Program Terms state that the program is open to U.S. residents, so it is unlikely that an international phone number would be able to be used for an account.
Based on what you are describing, it sounds like you may already have an account (or, possibly, multiple accounts) with us. I would be happy to look into this for you, and see if we can get the information merged together and updated to your preferred information.
