I'm attempting to use the "Report Missing Points" feature to add a guest purchase to my account but get an error message stating "An unexpected error occurred". This purchase was made more than 30 days ago. Is there anything that can be done to add this to my purchase history?

Oftentimes, this error will appear if you have multiple My Best Buy accounts or if this purchase is already associated with a My Best Buy account. You should be able to report a BestBuy.com guest order as "missing" as long as it hasn't been more than 180 days, the order isn't already tied to a rewards account, and you were enrolled in the rewards program prior to submitting the order.
