Unable to Apply Discounts and Certificates

I'm 83 years old and was delighted when I was e-mailed both a 10% birthday discount and a $10 bonus certificate. I then decided to buy a couple of items at Best Buy instead of at Amazon, where I usually shop because of the free returns.

 

To my surprise, neither of the offered discounts were applied when I placed my order, even though I clicked the links in the e-mails before shopping. Disappointed, I tried to immediately cancel the order, with the intention of purchasing the items from Amazon instead (where I would at least get the free returns). But the option to cancel the order was grayed out, even though I had just placed the order seconds earlier.

 

Please cancel my order for me, since it did not provide the value I was expecting and so I can reorder at Amazon while the items are still on sale. Thank you.

I can certainly understand wanting to make sure you get the best deal possible and I would be happy to see if I can provide some additional information and assistance with this order.

 

While this My Best Buy birthday coupon can be used on many different products, it does not apply to items already on sale. Do you happen to know if the products you purchased were discounted?

 

In order to get orders to you as quickly as possible we can typically only cancel an order within 30 minutes of it being placed, though this can be shorter during the holiday season. I'd like to take a closer look at this order to see what options are available at this time. I will need some more details to do so.
