Someone has been buying items on my rewards card/number who do I report to and how do I resolve this

Hello,

I received an emailed receipt today from a purchase I did not make on my rewards number.  In checking my purchase history I see several items that I did not purchase either on my rewards account number.

I do not have a best buy credit card, only a rewards account.

How do I resolve this issue.  Who do I report to and how do I remove the ability of someone from using my rewards account fraudulently.

Hello, HelpWithFraud,

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out to us, though I wish you have found the forum under better circumstances. It is always unsettling to see purchases on one's account that you did not make. I'm glad you've reached out to see how this can be resolved and prevented going forward.

As it sounds like store purchases are merely being attached to your membership, rather than rewards being redeemed on those purchases, it is possible that some information may simply be crossed. This can occur due to historical information being kept or if you've ever shared your membership with family or friends. I would be delighted to dig further into this with you, so please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right corner of the page for the private message I'm sending your way.

Sincerely,
