I purchased five times outside Best Buy for this promotion but I have not received a reward certificate.

Can someone check into this for me?     Or is there a phone number I can call please?

Our Shop Five Times for 50 offer may take up to four weeks to be fulfilled from when you qualify. Please allow the appropriate amount of time for this offer to post. If you are beyond this time frame, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us, and we'll dig further into this with you!

I made 5 purchases between 7/14 & 7/20,  so its been about 9 weeks:

7/14 Walmart  $46.32

7/15 Cheesecake Factory $42.00

7/15 United Dairy Farmers  $45.17
7/17 Menards  $47.09

7/20 Home Depot $20.91

 

Would you look into this for me?

Use your My Best Buy® Visa® Card to make at least five individual purchases of $20 or more outside of Best Buy between now and August 31, 2018.

 

the offer says  "now"  and 8/31/18.  there was no start date listed on the website or mailer.

 

Please ask them to honor this, or I would like to submit a formal complaint because this is false advertising.

Thank you for following up with us. As our records have the offer beginning July 15, any purchases made prior to this wouldn't qualify. 

I understand though you may have received this offer prior to the start date. Do you have an email you could forward us showing this early receipt? Of course, we would be unable to confirm the date a mailer was received.

I do have the receipt from 7/14 or a purchase at Walmart with my BestBuy card.

How would you like me to send this to you?

 

Also, I know I had already received the flyer because otherwise I would not have used this

card, because I never use it at other stores.

I apologize if I was unclear. I was referring to an email showing the date you received the offer prior to the start date, not just the mailer you received. Did you receive such an email?

I do not have an email, only the mailer & website.

However if you check the history on my bestbuy card, I virtually never use it.  

I only began using it for this promotion.

If BestBuy doesn't want to honor this, then I probably don't need their card any longer.

As we would have no way of confirming you received this mailer prior to the start date we have on record (July 15), we would be unable to honor this offer as your purchase from July 14 would not qualify. I understand this isn't the news you were hoping for and greatly appreciate you reaching out to share your experience.
