It is absolutely ridiculous that someone came up with a policy to expire reward certificates. I HAD a $25 dollar certificate that I EARNED by spending money in your store. I wanted to use this today and realized it was gone.... expired in March,
I want to know WHY this is! These are not coupons posted on a website or printed in a newspaper. These rewards are earned by purchases by your loyal customers. I consider this theft and is worthy of being reported to the better business bureau.
I hope you people realize that you are hurting your business with policies like this. We consumers have many choices where to spend our money. We should all boycot Best Buy until this policy is removed and all rewards are returned!!!!!

Thank you for being a My Best Buy member! Finding you’ve had a My Best Buy reward certificate expire would be most frustrating, especially if you were unaware they expired at all as it seems to be for you. I know if I let one slip by me, I feel pretty frustrated with myself.
Our My Best Buy Terms advise that certificates, which are coupons for discounts and thus do have an expiration date, typically have 60 days to be redeemed, unless otherwise noted. Once expired, we’re generally unable to reissue them. We do our best to make our customers aware a certificate has been issued, as we send out email notifications that include the expiration date. As emails may be filtered, overlooked, or even blocked, we recommend members manage their rewards from BestBuy.com, where certificates can be viewed as well.
