Why do in store best buy associates tell people (over the course of 2 years, but more specifically the last 6 months and probably 12 associates across 3 different stores so not just a one associate issue) that rewards certificates do "inactivate", but not to worry! You can always call and get the certificates reactivated if you don't use them in that time. Why are they not trained to say they expire in x amount of time so use them?

Once a certificate has been issued, it is usually valid for 60 days unless otherwise noted on the certificate itself. We typically cannot reissue certificates once they've expired, either.
