Hello- I recently made a large purchase with Best Buy, and earned rewards points (turned into certificates). I gave the rewards certificates to my son to purchase something with them as a christmas gift, and he used them. However, he recently returned the item he bought (about two weeks ago), on the receipt he sent me, it indicated that the rewards certificates would be credited back to my account within a few days. The return was made on 2/4/19, and it is now 2/16/2019, and the certificates have not been returned to my account to use on something else. What is my recourse for regaining the certificates from the returned item?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out regarding the whereabouts of your My Best Buy certificates! It's fantastic to hear you received some rewards after a large purchase, and provided them to your son to use. It's dismaying to hear his purchase didn't work out, and that he ultimately returned it. In most cases, this should result in the points for the certificates being credited within just a few days, offering you another chance to redeem them.
