I was making a purchase a few days ago and noticed that I had a reward certificate, which shouldn't have been the case because I was banking points. It looks like the setting got changed, which is why the certificate was issued, so I changed it back to bank points.
However, the certificate was expiring on Saturday. I scrambled to find something to use it on and went to check out on Saturday evening, but when I clicked to apply the certificate at checkout, it said it was expired even though it was still in the "Your Offers & Rewards" section.

Welcome back, vitanga,
Thank you for stopping by our community forums again. Banking My Best Buy points to get a big certificate is a great benefit, especially if you're planning a large purchase in the future. I appreciate you taking the time to write to us about your account to let us know about this change. I can certainly understand wanting to make sure you had a change to use the certificate that was issued.
Generally, certificates will be valid for 60 days after they have been issued. Once these have expired, we are unable to reissue a certificate. I would like to take a look at your My Best Buy account to see why these setting changed. I will need to review a bit more information in order to do so.
I'll be sending you a private message with some additional details. You can check you inbox by clicking on the orange envelope in the top right corner of your screen after logging in to your forums account. I'll keep an eye out for your message!
