Rewards Expire

Hello my $75 rewards certificate just expired. I worked hard for the purchase to get those rewards and without any notification those rewards expire.  Can the reward certificate be reissued again. Thanks so much

Re: Rewards Expire

Good afternoon kamran718 and welcome!

Thank you for registering with the forum to reach out regarding your expired $75 My Best Buy certificate. Receiving a high value certificate is pretty exciting, so I can imagine your dismay when you found the certificate had expired.

My Best Buy certificates are typically valid for 60 days, and in the notification email that a certificate has been issued, the expiration date is provided. While we send out notification emails that a certificate has been issued, you may also view certificate information by signing into BestBuy.com. Generally speaking though, we're unable to reissue expired rewards. For more information, please feel welcome to check out our My Best Buy Terms and the post below.

I would be happy to review your membership though, so please see that I am sending you a private message. You may view your message by signing into the forum then clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.

Sincerely,

Re: Rewards Expire

Hi! kamran718

I realize that it is difficult to comprehend that Best Buy will not reactivate your Reward Points / Certificate.

Best Buy will always respond with a "It's not our fault" and provide an excuse indicating that it is Your Responsibility.

There are loop holes and there will be incidents or coincidence that you may not be notified. If your Internet Provider or a Server in the link to connecting with your IPS gets messed up then who is to blame. Check your email status and make sure Best Buy messages do not go to the Spam or Trash folder.

Best Buy will not admit they are a fault (only under rare and unusual circumstance).

Since you appear to make several purchases at Best Buy, then I can only advise you to check with them at each visit

you make and sure of the Reward Points and or Certificates you should have.

You need to stay on top of things and follow up cause just like at your job you have people / employees that basically do nothing and wanting a fat paycheck. Pass the Buck, blame someone else, and as always there is never adequate or effective Communication. To get anything done right , you need to be the enforcer and lean hard cause many people today are plan out right lazy. Especially your Local, County, State and Federal Government Employees as all they need is your name and ssn or other info on a list as standbys and say yep! look at the pile on my desk or scheduled appointments as I'm being overworked and rather be on my smartphone chatting and playing games or pretending I'm working. Politicians are good at doing nothing but happy spend your money. Public Office and Government people take their time and rarely get anything done except using your money for pleasure and enjoyment.  Don't Worry, Be Happy !!!!
