Hi, I made a purchase in store with a coupon. The lady told me the discount would show up after the payment. However, it is not true, although she and I both believe that coupon would work. Another lady came and told me your system is smart enough to know whether the coupon work or not... ... Anyway, she canceled my purchase and told me I will get all the rewards back. Again, however, it turned out this is not true FOR promotional certificate. So I lost my rewards certificate after 30mins waiting and can still not get it back.

Welcome to our community. I don’t know about you, but I always get excited whenever the time comes for me to redeem a reward or coupon; it’s basically free money! I’m sure I would feel disappointed if my coupon didn’t apply to a purchase as I had expected, and my frustration would surely be compounded upon if it could not be reissued.
In almost every instance, coupons should be able to be combined with a rewards certificate as long as the coupon doesn’t bring the total pre-tax purchase price below the dollar amount of the rewards certificate. Unlike regular rewards certificates that can be reissued when a return or exchange is made, promotional certificates are often limited to one-time use and cannot be reissued once redeemed.
