I have returned a product that was purchased with partial payment of $50 reward certificate but the reward was not returned to my account. I clearly asked the customer service at the store if the reward certificate can be redeemed after the return or I would not make the return. And the answer was 'Yes' but it is not.
There was not an explanation or notice that the certificate is not refundable after a return.
This is really frustrating that I even have to spend time to post a message here to get help.

Welcome to our community forums. It's always great to have a My Best Buy certificate around, I know I would want to know when this would post to my account if I were in your shoes. I would be happy to help you look into this.
How long ago was this return processed? It typically takes up to three days for certificates to be available after making a return. Do you know if this was a promotional certificate? These are only available to be used one time and are not refunded.
