Welcome to our forums! As a My Best Buy™ member myself, I can’t tell you how many reward certificates I missed out on, simply because they expired before I realized it. It often feels like a missed opportunity, especially when you realize it happened just days after the expiration date.
In regards to the expiration of our reward certificates, unless otherwise stated in the email containing your certificate, they will generally be valid for a 60 day period. If you’re unsure of the exact date as to when your certificate will expire, this information can be found on the certificate itself, as well as in the “Rewards” section of your BestBuy.com account, if your account is linked to your My Best Buy™ membership. You’re also able to modify the certificate redemption settings on your account, in case you wanted to have your certificates issued once you reach $5, $10, $20, or more, depending on your My Best Buy™ account status. Once expired, we’ll be unable to reissue your certificate, and if you have any other questions regarding expired reward certificates, this FAQ article may prove useful.
