I recently met the criteria to receive a $50 promotional offer and I just learned from support that it recently expired and that there is nothing that they can do to rectify my loss. This is very frustrating as I don't often use my best buy card, and did so around Christmas for this specific purpose. I understand that this was likely in the terms and conditions and I should have read them more closely, but I honestly did not think it would expire so quickly.
Is there anything you can do to eithe renew or add a new certificate?

Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your $50 My Best Buy reward certificate received from an outside spending offer! It's always exciting to receive such an offer, and participate in it. I'm sure you were thrilled to receive the reward, but quite frustrated and caught off-guard to find it expired sooner than expected.
Our My Best Buy Terms advise that certificates typically have 60 days to be redeemed, unless otherwise noted. Promotional certificates do often expire sooner than this, as noted on them. Once expired, we’re generally unable to reissue them. We do our best to make our customers aware a certificate has been issued, as we send out email notifications that include the expiration date. As emails may be filtered, overlooked, or even blocked though, we recommend members manage their rewards from BestBuy.com, where certificates can be viewed as well.
